Top-Up MBA in Sports Management

The purpose of this MBA degree is to prepare the next generation of sports organization leaders and reformers.

The sports industry is fast-paced, exciting, and full of diverse opportunities. Whether you’re an athlete or a non-athlete sports fanatic, a career in this exhilarating and competitive field can be uniquely fulfilling, and a specialized degree in sports management can help get you there. Hence there is a visible trend of growing interest towards this degree, which will make these individuals the most sought after in the ever-expanding global sports industry.

Though an average professional athlete is likely to retire before 30 years of age, someone who is overlooking the critical aspect of management of sports can manage multiple athletes and continue operations for years to come. In addition to the few professional athletes and billions of viewers, what keeps the sports industry going efficiently is the management team that continues to drive the industry off the field, while taking care of the business side of sports.

If you’ve been working in the sports industry, earning an MBA in Sports Management can significantly improve your skills, comprehension, networking, and value within the sports industry. It can upraise you to leadership roles and allow you to closely work with and even be a part of the C-suite.

If you haven’t been working in sports, but have experience in an aspect of the field (like event management, communications, human resources, etc.) and a passion for sports, this degree could also be instrumental in making a shift in your career and expanding your job opportunities. You’ll delve into graduate business courses alongside a cornucopia of disciplines that sports leaders regularly practice.
