Established in 1982 as a specialist professional awarding body, our mission is to focus on the training needs of new entrants and existing industry professionals, it is now a network of over two hundred Approved Teaching Centres worldwide delivering industry-relevant CTH qualifications to thousands of new students each year.
Awards for Training and Higher Education (ATHE) is a global awarding organisation regulated by Ofqual and other UK and international regulators. We work with 250 recognised centres in over 50 countries to complement our strong brand presence in the UK, offering a wide portfolio of vocationally orientated and internationally recognised qualifications – such as business and management, law, computing and healthcare, with many eligible for UK funding.
ATHE qualifications are approved as progression pathways to relevant Bachelor’s and Master’s Top Up degrees by a growing number of UK and international Universities, providing significant tertiary education opportunities for our learners.

OTHM is approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation), and is also a full member of FAB ( Federation of Awarding Bodies).Ofqual is responsible for maintaining standards and confidence in qualifications. Ofqual looks after GCSEs and A levels in England, and a wide range of vocational qualifications in England. Ofqual also regulates the National Curriculum Assessments in England.
